Saddle & Song brings Landon Wall, The Voice alum Madison Hughes, Anna Victoria and The Bowling Sisters to White Horse Black Mountain on Saturday, Nov. 14.
Country songwriter Landon Wall will headline Saddle & Song, a one-day country and Americana festival at White Horse Black Mountain on Saturday, Nov. 14.
The nonprofit venue on Montreat Road has also booked Madison Hughes, who appeared on NBC’s The Voice, Sylva singer-songwriter Anna Victoria and the Nashville trio The Bowling Sisters. Liz Atkinson will lead a line dancing workshop in the afternoon. The music runs from 1:30 to 9:30 p.m.
White Horse describes the festival as an afternoon and evening that combines regional performers with Nashville-based artists in downtown Black Mountain.
“Get ready for a full day of live country music, line dancing, cold drinks, and good times,” the venue says on its Saddle & Song page. “Whether you’re here for the music, ready to hit the dance floor, or simply looking for a great day out with friends, Saddle & Song has something for every country music fan.”
The lineup
Landon Wall closes the night from 8 to 9:30 p.m. He is a singer-songwriter from Trinity, North Carolina, who began performing at age 9, according to the venue. His original song “Lost Boy,” written in response to Kelsea Ballerini’s “Peter Pan,” drew national coverage. White Horse says he was featured alongside Ballerini in The Bluebird documentary and has played Nashville’s Bluebird Cafe. The venue promises “an energetic headline performance filled with dynamic guitar work, powerful vocals, and anthemic country hooks.”
Madison Hughes plays with her trio from 6 to 7:30 p.m. She is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter who was on Season 22 of The Voice, and she draws on country, blues, Americana and rock. Her debut album, All That I Am, came out in April 2025. The venue calls the set “powerhouse vocals, gritty roots instrumentation, and crowd-favorite country tracks.”
Anna Victoria opens the day at 1:30 p.m. The Sylva singer-songwriter brings “a local voice to the festival with her soulful vocals and acoustic sound,” White Horse says, along with “sharp storytelling.”
The Bowling Sisters play at midday. The Nashville trio is the siblings Hope, Kate and Grace, and the venue describes “breathtaking three-part harmony rooted in Country, Americana, and Bluegrass” and “the authentic blend of blood-tied voices and timeless storytelling.”
Line dancing with Liz
From 4 to 5 p.m., Liz Atkinson leads an all-levels line dancing workshop that the venue says welcomes newcomers and experienced dancers alike.
“Grab your boots and hit the floor!” White Horse says. The workshop is “designed to get everyone dancing, from first-timers to seasoned two-steppers.”
The venue notes that set times may shift slightly through the day.
