Pizza in Asheville clusters in three places: downtown and the South Slope (Barley’s, Mellow Mushroom, Pack’s Tavern, PIE.ZAA and All Souls near the River Arts District), Merrimon Avenue in North Asheville (Asheville Pizza and Brewing, MOD Pizza and Papa Johns within a few blocks) and Haywood Road in West Asheville. Brixx is in Biltmore Park, and the delivery chains are on Tunnel Road and Fairview Road.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Asheville’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 12, 2026. We added Pack’s Tavern because its own menu lists wood-fired pizza at a downtown Asheville address. We left out places whose websites were parked, taken over by unrelated pages or would not load for us. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. The places

All Souls Pizza is on Clingman Avenue at the edge of the River Arts District. Its site lists dinner hours only, Tuesday to Saturday, and takes orders online.

Asheville Pizza and Brewing on Merrimon Avenue is the North Asheville location of Asheville Brewing Company. Its site says it is open for dine-in, carry-out and patio seating, and the building has its own movie theaters. Its site links to Google for hours.

Barley’s Taproom & Pizzeria has been on Biltmore Avenue downtown since 1994, according to its site. It serves pizza, salads and wings from 4 p.m. to midnight, with separate hours for the upstairs and downstairs bars.

Brixx Wood Fired Pizza + Craft Bar is the chain’s Biltmore Park restaurant on Town Square Boulevard. Its location page lists hours every day of the week.

Chuck E. Cheese on River Hills Road, off Tunnel Road, is the pizza and arcade chain for children’s parties. Its location page lists games, birthday packages and a food menu.

Domino’s on Tunnel Road in East Asheville serves pizza and wings for carryout and delivery, with hours past midnight every night.

Mellow Mushroom is on Broadway downtown. Its location page lists delivery, a patio and a private room.

MOD Pizza on Merrimon Avenue builds individual pizzas to order. Its location page lists pickup and delivery.

Pack’s Tavern faces Pack Square Park on South Spruce Street. Its site lists wood-fired pizza with steaks, burgers and taps, in a historic downtown building.

Papa Johns on Merrimon Avenue lists delivery and carryout hours on its location page; carryout closes at 10:45 p.m.

PIE.ZAA on Millard Avenue, in the South Slope and Biltmore Avenue area, sells pizza by the slice and whole pies up to 28 inches, its site says. Asheville is where the business started.

Pizza Hut on Fairview Road in East Asheville lists pizza and wings for delivery and carryout.

Standard Pizza Co. has two Asheville shops, on Haywood Road in West Asheville and on Biltmore Avenue south of downtown. Its site lists pizza and calzones.
