Wings in Asheville are a bar and tavern item more than a specialty. Three places on this list are downtown (Barley’s, Pack’s Tavern and Red Ginger), two are in Biltmore Park on Town Square Boulevard, and the rest are along Tunnel Road and Fairview Road in East Asheville and on Hendersonville Road in South Asheville.
How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Asheville’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 12, 2026. We added Hickory Tavern, Pack’s Tavern, Red Ginger, Taco Boy and The Social because their own menus or sites list wings at an Asheville address. We left out Buffalo Wild Wings and Wingstop on Tunnel Road because their location pages would not load for us, and Wild Wing Cafe, whose own locations list no longer shows an Asheville restaurant. 12 Bones Brewing is in the city data but its own site gives an Arden address. The places
Barley’s Taproom & Pizzeria on Biltmore Avenue lists pizza, salads and wings from 4 p.m. to midnight. It has been downtown since 1994, its site says, with separate upstairs and downstairs bar hours.
Domino’s on Tunnel Road lists wings with its pizza for carryout and delivery on its location page.
Hickory Tavern is the restaurant chain’s Biltmore Park location. Its menu lists Tavern Wings served traditional or charred, with sauces from mild to hot and dry rubs, and the location runs weekly trivia and music bingo.
Juicy Lucy’s Burger Bar and Grill on Hendersonville Road is a burger bar that says it was born in Asheville. Its site shows chicken wings among its dishes, with burgers, ribs and shakes, and it caters parties.
Pack’s Tavern faces Pack Square Park downtown. Its menu lists breaded wings in flavors that include Buffalo, lemon pepper, spicy peach and a blackberry porter barbecue sauce.
Pizza Hut on Fairview Road in East Asheville lists wings beside its pizza for delivery and carryout.
Red Ginger Dimsum & Tapas on Patton Avenue is a Chinese dim sum and tapas restaurant. Its menu lists marinated chicken wings pan-fried with garlic and butter.
Taco Boy Biltmore Park is a Mexican taqueria on Town Square Boulevard. Its small plates menu lists six crispy chicken wings with chipotle ranch, and its site describes a sunroom that opens to the patio.
The Social in East Asheville is a sports bar and music venue that lists burgers and wings, with karaoke, open mic nights and a weekly Tuesday wing night.
